Last Week’s Office Poll Winner

This week, Diversity Tomorrow will begin posting the results from the previous week’s poll question.

Last week’s question was “Who do you think would have the cunning and skills to win “Survivor: Dunder-Mifflin, Scranton Branch”, and after tallying almost fourty votes, the winner is (and it should come as no suprise):

Dwight K. Schrute

Dwight won with 31% of the votes, with Jim (26%) coming in second and Ryan (13%) in third. Congrats, Dwight!

Office Tidbits and a Supersized Request

Some random Office-related notes…

1. Make sure to sign the petition to “Supersize” the season finale of “The Office”. Thanks to Give Me My Remote and Northern Attack for putting this campaign together!

2. Check out Brian’s (”Kevin”) thoughts on last Thursday’s women’s figure skating finale. And please don’t call him “Jim”!

3. If you haven’t seen it already, check out John Krasinski and Rainn Wilson bust a move on “Ellen”. I dare you not to laugh. I also loved John’s story about the chick who stuck her fingers in his mouth.

Office Poll #4

This week’s poll question:

Who do you think would have the cunning and skills to win “Survivor: Dunder-Mifflin, Scranton Branch”?

Vote here!

Lingering Questions

While watching some old episodes of “The Office” to tide me over until the new episodes in March, a few questions linger from the show that I wonder if they’ll be answered (I’m assuming so, but one never knows).

1. What will become of Daryll’s comment of “This isn’t over, Michael” at the end of “Boys and Girls”?

2. Who was Phillys’ one night stand within the office that was alluded to in the “Sexual Harassment” episode?

3. How was Dwight able to pay for the hospital bills from his concussion if he chose such a crappy health plan for the office? And aren’t Schrutes supposed to be resilient to illness and injury?

So, what lingering questions from previous episodes do you hope are answered in upcoming episodes?

Defending “The Office”

Another little bit of media love for our favorite dysfunctional workplace, “The Office”. Check out Slate’s blurb about “The Office” here.

Office Poll #3

Sorry to be so late with this week’s “Office” poll- stupid work getting all in the way of things! Anyhow, since we’ll be without “The Office” tonight and for the next couple of weeks, I thought I’d find out how you’d be coping on this “Office”-less Thursday.

Office Poll #3- What will you be doing tonight on this Office-less Thursday evening?

Stupid Olympics

No new “Office” again until March 2?!? How will we be able to cope? What will I have to look forward to on Thursdays? I can already start to feel withdrawl symptoms.

Hey, at least you can send an “Office” valentine or read the February Dunder-Mifflin newsletter.

PS- For any “Arrested Development” fans, the two-hour series finale (please someone pick up this show!) is tonight 8/7 Central on Fox. Another intelligent, funny TV series succumbs to low ratings. Stupid Nielsen TV families.

Valentine’s Day, Schrute-Style

Schrute-Space has been updated with Dwight’s thoughts on the upcoming Hallmark Holiday.

He has quite the interesting take (eschew the flowers and candy, catch a nice fish for your honey instead!) on the holiday, so make sure to give it a read. It’ll be interesting to see what he gives Angela for tonight’s Valentine’s Day episode!

Another Great “Office” Site

As everyone else is in a meeting today and the “admin” team are the only employees not in said meeting, I’ve been able to roam around the Internet and find a fun “The Office” site where you can purchase fun stuff like t-shirts, mugs, hats and mousepads with fun quotes from “The Office”. I’m totally getting the “Mozart” mousepad with Dwight’s quote!

Make sure to go check it out- it’s at The Scranton Branch.
